Join us for our first Tap Series with Akasha Brewing. Akasha will be taking over the taps with 4 of their brews including their 2018 Seasonal Release American Stout.

Akasha will be joining us the kick off the evening from 5pm with beer tastings so pop in early and you might be lucky enough to score some of the brewers shout.

Freshwater Pale Ale – 5.2%
Freshwater is an American Style Pale Ale, brewed using our favourite American hop, Cascade. The Freshwater is well balanced between the sweet biscuity malt and the thirst quenching hop flavour and crispy clean finish.

Fire Within Amber Ale – 5.8%
Fire Within is characterised by a rich copper colour and caramel sweetness, balanced with the floral and citrus flavours from a healthy dose of classic American Hops. The result is a rich smooth brew that will ignite the taste buds.

Tradewind Lager 4.4%
Suited perfectly to the Aussie climate, Tradewind is a hoppy twist on the classic pale lager. Brewed using a clean German Lager yeast and paired with the passionfruit and citrus flavours of Australian galaxy hops to ‘breathe’ New World Life into old world style.

Seasonal Release American Stout 6%

‘It’s winter and that means it time for dark beers. But don’t be fooled, this stout is not your generic malty and sweet winter beer. Our Sequoia Stout is full of Cascade and Centennial hops. It’s hoppy and dark and delicious. At 6% abv you will find yourself going back for more!’

Our good friends from down south Mornington Peninsula Brewery have been getting creative, developing a beer-wine hybrid produced by co-fermenting beer wort with wine juice. We thought we’d help them introduce it to Queensland! We’ll be the ONLY place in QLD pouring either VinAle’s so drop in to ours after 12pm on Saturday and grab a table with your pals to compare the brew/drops! (We will also be selling takeaways if you’d rather drink from home). As with any good wine tasting we will have pairing food available to purchase prepared by awarded chef, Rob Campbell

Co-fermenting Montalto Vineyard & Olive Grove Muscato juice with Mornington Belgian Golden ale and aged in French Oak Chardonnay barrels created a unique Vinale with delicate aromas of pineapple and guava. 7.9% ABV

Co-fermenting Montalto Vineyard & Olive Grove Pinot juice with Mornington Brown ale and aged in French Oak Pinot barrels produced a cherry red VinAle with big aromas of stonefruit, rose and fruit leather. VinAle Red has a vibrant, yet individual character and a textural mouthfeel with flavours of Turkish Delight, chocolate and nuts. A fabulous and unique drinking experience combining the best of both worlds.
