Our good friends from down south Mornington Peninsula Brewery have been getting creative, developing a beer-wine hybrid produced by co-fermenting beer wort with wine juice. We thought we’d help them introduce it to Queensland! We’ll be the ONLY place in QLD pouring either VinAle’s so drop in to ours after 12pm on Saturday and grab a table with your pals to compare the brew/drops! (We will also be selling takeaways if you’d rather drink from home). As with any good wine tasting we will have pairing food available to purchase prepared by awarded chef, Rob Campbell
Co-fermenting Montalto Vineyard & Olive Grove Muscato juice with Mornington Belgian Golden ale and aged in French Oak Chardonnay barrels created a unique Vinale with delicate aromas of pineapple and guava. Spritzy, yet textural mouthfeel is followed by a refreshing acidity, crisp green apples flavours and hints of mild spices. A fabulous and unique drinking experience combining the best of both worlds.
Co-fermenting Montalto Vineyard & Olive Grove Pinot juice with Mornington Brown ale and aged in French Oak Pinot barrels produced a cherry red VinAle with big aromas of stonefruit, rose and fruit leather. VinAle Red has a vibrant, yet individual character and a textural mouthfeel with flavours of Turkish Delight, chocolate and nuts. A fabulous and unique drinking experience combining the best of both worlds.
